Maximum wheel diameter not to exceed 17’.
Width of tire no more than 12.5”.

No chevron or ag style “V” tread or
sharpened tires are permitted.

No tire studs or chains.

All trucks must be equipped with functional
stock or home made bed with bottom and sides (3 ½” bedsides minimum).

No tailgate is required.
7.
Make and model of engine must conform to year
of truck being pulled.
8.
All differentials must be functional and in
working condition. No welded spider gears, no Dana or other brand air lockers
are allowed.
9.
Trucks must be highway legal with current
inspection, license, and proper insurance. Operator must furnish proof of
insurance and state inspection. Non-residents are
excluded from state inspection.
10.
Any added weight is not permitted to be placed
more forward than midway between front and rear axle. Snowplow bracket (without
plow) is permitted.
11.
All operators must be 16 years of age, with
written parental consent through age 18, with a valid drivers license in order
to compete.
12.
The hitch point is to be from a Reese
type hitch. Hitch point may not be more
than 26 inches from the ground and must be the furthest point back on the
pulling vehicle.
13.
No aluminum intake manifolds, unless factory
equipped stock.
14.
No exhaust headers are permitted.
15.
Any weight or any other component falling off
of truck during the pull will result in disqualification.
16.
Hitch point on truck is to be no less than
3” in diameter. Hitch must result from a twisted clevis type device.
17.
Truck must be equipped with conventional
cooling system. Transmission coolers are permitted.
18. No turbo chargers or super chargers allowed.
19.
Puller has option to reject first attempt to
pull with 100 feet of start to the front of the pulling vehicle and will re-pull
immediately.
20.
Engines are to be equipped with only one
carburetor or factory equipped fuel injection system.
21.
No cut or altered tires.
22.
Weight class is but not limited to 6200 lbs.
23.
All trucks are to be teched by qualified
personnel at the start of the pulling session.
24.
No pressurized gasses. Pump gas only.
25.
First puller of each class has the option to
reject first pull and re-pull in the sixth pulling position. All decisions about
re-pulls must be made before truck is unhooked.
26.
All trucks must have stock suspension. No
rigid mounting of axle to frame of truck.
27.
Maximum drawbar height is to be no more than
26”.
28.
All trucks must be equipped with stock front
bumper.
29.
All points per pull are to be applied to
A.H.P.A. members in the same manner as applied in the Farm Stock classes.
30.
All trucks must be driven to pulling event in
order to compete in that event.
31.
No weights allowed in cab except four wheel
drive station wagon type vehicle (bronco, blazer, ram charger, etc.). All
weights are to be behind front seat and front door of vehicle.
32.
All weights must be secured (no
tarp straps).
33.
No passengers allowed in vehicle during the
pull.
34.
Windows must be rolled up and seat belts are
to be worn during pull. A helmet is required to be worn by all pullers.
35.
All trucks must be operated in a safe manner
at all times at the event.
36.
Trucks will line up according to the order
that they will pull and will be numbered for organizational purposes.
37.
The order of pull will be determined by a draw
of numbers at the time puller registers.
38.
Pullers will have 2 minutes to report to the
line up area after the class before them is done pulling. Any truck not
reporting will be disqualified.
39.
Any truck that has a mechanical failure, prior
to their class starting, may withdraw and receive a refund of entry fee.
40.
Each puller has two attempts to move the sled
from the starting line, after the second attempt the truck will be disqualified.
41.
All pulls must start with a tight chain. No
jerking.
42.
Any discrepancies will be brought to the
attention of the track officials to be settled.
43.
All decisions made by the track officials are
final.
